The Rev Martin Luther King spearheaded the campaign against segregation and racial discrimination in the United States.

But his crusade was cut dramatically short, when he was assassinated on 4 April 1968 in the southern US city of Memphis, Tennessee, aged 39.

He was shot in the neck by a rifle bullet as he stood on a balcony from where he was to lead a march of sanitation workers protesting against low wages and poor working conditions

James Earl Ray was convicted of his murder and sentenced to 99 years in prison.
But he later retracted his confession and said he had been only a minor player in a conspiracy.
However, his appeals for a new trial were rejected and he died in prison in 1998.

Look at these facts, I can’t fathom why this kind person had to end-up in the hands of some random murderer’s hands? He inspired, he shared his dream, he made us believe there’s faith, and indeed his dream come true…

I am trully disappointed with people..

Why people just never realize what they are doing towards people is wrong?
Why are they killing this amazing soul just for some unknown reasons?

Why did God let him die when he has started to help people to believe in their dreams?
Why couldn’t let him live any longer to let his charisma touches people’s heart?

Does this mean people with big dream will end up like him?
Does this mean dream must go along with what “others’ approval”?

Then, would not it become “their dreams”, not ours?

M. Luther King, he is a great personality. 🙂
